Made from quality Chinese hog bristles, Winton Hog brushes are interlock constructed and hand-set into seamless corrosion-resistant ferrules. The bristles have a natural curve that is retained even after heavy use, allowing more control and accuracy, whether painting with oils or acrylics.
This set includes five long handle brushes: round 2, short flat bright 2, filbert 4, flat 6 and round 6.
Paintbrush care:
Paintbrush care is essential to maintaining their condition and extending their life span. Always clean brushes before the paint dries. Using a hydrating paintbrush cleaner after using Taltine or soap prevents bristles from drying out and helps maintain their suppleness.
Watercolour: clean with warm water
Oil: dip the paintbrush in a solvent such as Taltine; clean with warm soapy water and a clear water rinse
Acrylic: clean with warm soapy water and a clear water rinse
