Made of select beechwood, the Mabef Lyre Easel is constructed with a sturdy A-frame for excellent rigidity. An easy-slide canvas holder on top clamps the canvas. A strong-grip metal ratchet adjusts the bottom canvas holder to adjust the height of your artwork. This easel holds canvases up to 125cm high and has a maximum height of 245cm. Unique amongst A-frame style easels you have the capacity to tilt the separate centre support forward to reduce glare from lighting on your painted surface making it easier to assess colours and tones. This is a feature normally only available in standard post and H frame studio easels. An anti-vibration inner spring and a rear leg stabilizer are extra bonuses. Has a 5cm deep tray to hold canvas and a 7.5cm deep storage tray beneath. Base measures 66cm across and 76cm deep. Some simple assembly is required.
