Michael Harding Non-Absorbent Acrylic Primer 500ml

This is not just another primer! After many years of talking to artists and listening to their needs, Michael Harding has specifically formulated this primer to be non-absorbent. This means artists will no longer be frustrated by the dullness of paint which has had the oil drawn out resulting in flat, muted looking paint surfaces. Although this product is non absorbing it will provide a strong bond to the layers of paint applied with just enough tooth so not to be greasy in feel. Apply 2 coats. First coat may be applied 25% diluted with water to increase flow and coverage if required. Apply second coat once first coat is touch dry (approx.. 1 hour). This product may be applied to: linen, wood, MDF and other supports to produce a strong, flexible, permanent, highly pigmented white ground. Suitable as a ground for both acrylic and oil paint. Do not apply over rabbit skin / hide glue.
